Founded in 1944, Parsons is an engineering and construction firm.

Currently, more than 12,000 Parsons employees are engaged in more than 4,500 projects in 50 states and 25 countries. Company helped to construct the Russian Complex for Destruction of Chemical Weapons in Schuche, Kurgansk region.

The project is a part of an agreement between the United States and Russian Federation on the safe storage, transportation and destruction of weapons of mass destruction and for non proliferation of such weapons.

Work within the project includes constructing bituminous grouting building, gas safety station, pumping station for fire extinction, gas distribution point, boiler room, waste treatment facilities for discharged water, pumping station for rain water, development of the site for the waste products storage, and construction of a general technological network and a water-supply overpass.

Objects of social infrastructure are also included in the contract: seven residential buildings, culture and sports complex, boiler room, transformer substation, engineering network, and a dining facility for 500 people.
